Coaching Accreditation
NSW Water Ski Federation runs courses for Water Ski Coaches, to meet the Sports Specific requirement to become a Level 1 Certified Water Ski Coach. This certification will be issued by the Australian Sports Commission, as part of the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme.
To become an accredited water ski coach, you must complete three components
- General Principles
- Sports Specific
- Practical
The next Sports Specific Coaching course is being offered on
Friday 1 April (6pm - 10pm) - Saturday 2 April 2011 (8am - 3.30pm)
Cost: $225 ($190 for AWWF members)
This course will cover the Sports Specific components of the accreditation. For more information or to register for the course, download the registration form or email to coaching@waterskinsw.com.au.
Pre-requisite: Completion of "Beginning Coaching General Principles"
Additional requirements for completion of the Level 1 Coaching Accreditation (note that these requirements are not completed during this course)

Pass the "Beginning Coaching General Principles course" Available online (no charge) at http://learning.ausport.gov.auClick on courses, then Enroll Now for Beginning Coaching General Principles. This is a Pre-requisite to the Sports Specific course, and should have been completed in advance.

Satisfactory completion and submission of the course workbook (provided at the Sports Specific course)

Completion of practical component, 15 hours supervised coaching
