Welcome to Water Ski NSW Inclusion

At Water Ski NSW, we believe that waterskiing is a sport for everyone. Our mission is to create an inclusive environment where people of all ages, genders, abilities, and backgrounds can experience the thrill of waterskiing. We are proud to offer a range of programs designed to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get involved, stay active, and be part of our waterskiing community.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We are dedicated to making waterskiing accessible and welcoming to all. Our inclusive approach ensures that:

  • Everyone is Welcome - We celebrate diversity and are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for all skiers, coaches, officials, and spectators.
  • Programs for All Abilities - We offer tailored programs for individuals with disabilities, ensuring they can fully participate in the sport they love.
  • Community Engagement - Our programs actively involve diverse community groups, promoting participation across all sectors of society.
  • Pathways to Success - Whether skiing recreationally or at an elite level, we provide opportunities for skill development, competition, and personal growth.

Our Inclusive Programs

Disabled Division: In partnership with Disabled Water Ski Australia (DWSA), we are dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities—helping them progress from social skiing to competitive success. Whether you’re looking to learn, compete, or challenge yourself, we provide the support and resources to help you thrive on the water!

Women's Ski Days: Our female empowerment program encourages women of all ages to try and pursue their waterskiing journey. Enjoy our Come 'n' Try Days in a supportive and fun environment.

Indigenous Water Skiing Program: We offer dedicated sessions for Indigenous skiers to experience waterskiing over several weeks. Contact our office for more details on this initiative.

Multicultural Waterskiing Programs: We tailor initiatives to engage diverse cultural communities, ensuring that waterskiing is accessible to everyone, regardless of background.

Pride in Waterskiing: Our program provides LGBTQ+ inclusion training for clubs, associations, and teams, as well as social tournaments for LGBTQ+ participants to enjoy waterskiing in a welcoming and supportive environment.
